Updates of original work and a new direction in my artwork. My Muse, Sophie, our oldest lab and the reason I paint Labs, has melanoma in her mouth and her days are numbered as of this writing. My life has changed. Priorities have changed and I am looking at life and it's fragility a little bit differently. My blog on blogspot and hopefully here will keep you updated,

Sheila Wedegis, Labrador Retriever artist,painted two Labradors who represent the Labrador Retriever Rescue Scotland. A auction was held and 50% of the proceeds went to Labrador Retriever Rescue Scotland. This May, Sheila, her husband Roger Wedegis and their friend Ray Hebert, also works with Lab rescue have been invited to meet the Scotland Labradors. While there they will be painting Labs and Highlands along with meeting the wonderful people who do so much for Labradors. A website has been designed offering packages that one can buy and go along a virtual journey. proceeds from the sale of the packages will go to Labrador Retriever Rescue Scotland.
